Motorola QA30: Company’s First QWERTY Slide Phone

There are plenty of phones in the market today that slide out into a QWERTY keypad, but coming from Motorola, this is something special. Not that the QA30 blows you off of your feet, but just that it is the first mobile out of Motorola’s style factory which is a slide phone and sports a QWERTY keypad.

The leaked pics of the QA30 show it featuring a 2.5 inch TFT screen along with a full QWERTY keyboard as it slides out. It also packs CDMA and EVDO support, a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microSD and microSDHC support for up to 32GB. That is plenty of memory for what primarily seems to be a business phone, though what features it exactly has in that direction is still unclear.

The price and even the release date are still not known, but one would hopefully hear them soon. Unless you are hell bent on taking a Motorola mobile, we suggest you do not really wait for this too long!

I still think that anyone looking for a full keyboard phone is better off with a Blackberry or Nokia E71.
