The early quarter of the year is a great time for mobile lovers, because many goodies are being released at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona. Long expected to launch, the first handset Acer – dubbed Acer DX900, will add to the entire gala.

This will be the first dual SIM mobile phone to support HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE connectivity. Apart from that unique distinction, the Acer DX900 will sport a 2.8-inch 468×640 VGA LCD touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel auto focus camera, a 0.3 Megapixel front camera, an integrated SiRF Star III chipset (GPS baby) and Bluetooth.

The launch of the DX900 is great news for dual SIM users who are looking for connectivity options. Powered by a Samsung S3C 6400 533 MHz processor and running on Windows Mobile 6.1, you can pre-order the Acer DX900 today for £395. Not cheap but smart and good looking. Isn’t it?
