The alliance between Garmin and ASUS will kick start at the Mobile World Congress this season and while the partnership already looks very interesting, it will be really worth waiting to see what exactly are they dishing out jointly. The obvious favorites will be the GPS-enabled phones as Garmin already has quite a lot of experience and expertise in the niche.

The first launch by Garmin-ASUS is the Nuvifone G60. It obviously borrows a great deal from the original Nuvifone already in existence, packs 3G and Bluetooth, sports a decent camera along and other basic features. Althought still largely relying on Google Maps, the Nuvifone G60 is not a bad phone – business or not. However, we’re still waiting to see what the giants can come up with …
