The partnership with Microsoft has really started showing its benefits for LG as its Windows Mobile powered handsets have finally started to be available. A good example is the new LG GM750 that has been announced as an exclusive for Vodafone in Europe.
LG GM750 is a WinMo 6.5 powered smartphone which is a forbearer of the outgoing GM730 minus the WinMo 6.1. As far as the other features are concerned, there is a 5MP camera on the rear and the S-Class support (from the GM730 territory) also finds a place here.
October 6 is the date when this phone will be launched in six major European countries including Germany, Italy and Spain while the other nations will be soon available after that date.
There are also talks that LG is readying three more WinMo 6.5 OS running phones for this year and ten more next year which seriously augers well for the future of the Korean giant. So is it really going to grille the #2 spot?
