Last month a detail of the future Verizon phones leaked on the web, and ever since, half the users have been waiting in anticipation for their favorite mobiles to be announced. The Samsung Rogue was also on the list and it was slated for a September 8 release date. However, all that Verizon did was to oblige to the speculations, instead of coming up with something official.

But today, the Samsung Rogue has finally been announced by Verizon. It comes with a 3.1-inch AMOLED display and a 3MP camera on the rear. The camera is blessed with flash and on-board editing software. Regarding the memory, the phone packs 16GB of memories thanks to a microSD card slot.

The Rogue comes with full HTML browsing, includes Microsoft Office Document Viewing, TouchWiz, and a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Verizon is offering the phone for $99.99 (after a $100 mail-in-rebate) on a two-year contract.
