The other model is the SCH-R860 which supports 1700MHz AWS connectivity alongwith CDMA/EV-DO which means it is likely not to go mainstream beyond carriers like Cricket and Metro PCs. The R860 being a touchscreen option could add variety particularly to the Metro PCs lineage which recently added the first Win Mo 6.1 phone to assist professionals.

As far as the Android powered i5700 Spica is concerned, it supports 850/1900 GSM and 850/1900 WCDMA bands, which means if it eventually makes it to the American shores, it will probably be an AT&T handset. The Galaxy Lite features an AMOLED touchscreen display and a 3.2Mp camera. On the connectivity front, it supports WiFi and GPS. More details on both these handsets should be available soon.
