Giving a pleasant new and stylish look to the more dull and monotonous world of 3G Routers, Ericsson has come out two new models. The W30 Data Router and the W35 Data and Voice Router. The very best in their categories with an ability to tap into HSPA / UMTS / GSM data and send it out over Wi-Fi and Ethernet, they also have the ability to share an USB printer.

The W35 quite obviously goes a step further with its voice and fax capabilities, making it probably the best 3G router around in terms of both form and function. So when will we get our hands on these? Not anytime soon, as apparently Ericsson hasn’t disclosed any prices or a release date.

Let’s just hope it’s soon enough for the sake of tech geeks in us!

Callpod Inc. which is working its way up in the mobile industry has recently launched the flexible Phoenix Mobile Communication System that will make communication smooth and hands free.

The Phoenix MCS allows five users wearing the sleek headphones that come with it, to communicate with each other at the same time in an area spread over 300,000 sq ft.

The MCS which is the most appropriate solution for offices, warehouses, outdoor areas or for tactful operations, is conveniently fitted with an internal lithium ion battery that can provide 8 hours of talk time and 120 hours while in standby. However, the company is still secretive about its price but if you are really curious to know, you can smart talk one of the sales representatives to give you a tiny hint. – via Yahoo

MacWorld 2008 will be held in San Francisco next month, but we already hear rumors and it’s not even Christmas yet. Yesterday I’ve heard of three new skinny MacBook laptops and today I found out something just as interesting. The iPhone (most desired gadget of 2007) will get an upgrade from TomTom that will include a GPS Module and the application to run it.

This is still a rumor, as TomTom didn’t bother to make a comment, but if we consider they want to allow third parties to develop applications for the iPhone and their decision to enter the car market and win the drivers (VW partnership) this may sound like the way to do it.

Take it with a lot of salt and we see if it comes true, next month.

What did we all knew Levi’s for? It’s jeans, you’re right, but apparently they want us to remember because of the latest fashion phone they’ve released, Levi’s LS01, which looks so much like Samsung P308. The guys were supposed to release it from September but waited until November to show it to the masses in Hong Kong, and so they did.

With a fancy metal design the Levi’s mobile phone features a 1.8-inch display with 260k colors, Bletooth, a media player that can even record MP4 videos, FM tuner, microSD card slot and 64MB built-in memory. If you want a Bluetooth handsfree then it costs an extra $50.You wanna get your hands on it, then head to Hong Kong right away and be prepared to spend about $560 for it if you want to impress.

Apparently Nokia will not release their revamped gaming service, the long waited N-GAGE in November as they announced back in August during a large media event because, and please don’t laugh, testing is taking a little bit longer. Excuse me for asking but when you launch something that people can’t wait to see at work don’t you get every little finger to help you out? Or are they using the Apple iPhone technique? I’ll stop being bitter and tell you that Nokia’s N-GAGE “is coming in December”.

There are other news though, not just this delay and it’s about the music store. Apparently Warner Music Group will not supply any songs (yeah no Madonna) because they’re afraid with illegal downloads and copyright abuse on Nokia’s file-sharing, Mosh, which is not the music store, but who can explain that to Warner.

Doesn’t seem like the best start for Nokia, but let’s hope before the Holidays we’ll get to play and to listen to other songs, too.

Mobile phones co-branding is not new anymore because the consumers already remember LG Prada, Samsung Armani or other, and this time it’s Adidas that will have their logo on a new Samsung phone, F110. The first rumors came in a few months ago about the two companies spreading some partnership love but nothing materialized, at least not until now.

Samsung F110 Adidas is very light and thin, sports a 2-inch QVGA 262K colors LCD display with 240 x 320 resolutions, a 2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot for storage and of course it features Adidas’ renowned three-stripe logo just above the directional pad.

None of what I said above has to do with sports but let me finish because you will see there are some neat functions that every athlete or someone that needs to lose weight, could use: tracking your performances. It has a pedometer, a heart beat monitor, the distance you’ve been running (or walked) and burnt calories.

Word is that it will be available from November for an undisclosed price.

If you remember the name “Aquos” then you already know it’s about the technology on those sleek LCD displays they’ve launched with great colors and clear images that is now featured on a mobile phone.

Sharp SH-920 Aquos, has a 3.2-inch LCD display with 26million colors, that is 480 x 854 pixels big with a 16:9 screen and 2,000:1 contrast ratios. It comes bundled with a 3 megapixel camera and has a One-Seg tuner that will allow you to record on a SD-MMC card and view later. As a GSM phone, Sharp SH-920 comes with Bluetooth A2DP support, HSDPA and infrared, weighs 123 grams and it measures 50 x 110.6 x 18mm.

If you want one, then ask your friends from Japan or make a little trip there, because that’s where it will be available.
