The all new Nokia 5730 XpressMusic seems like a welcome addition to those who love to use the QWERTY keypad for texting and its XressMusic features for … music, of course.

The first of its kind in the XpressMusic lineup, the Nokia 5730 sports a 2.4-inch 240×320 LCD display, a QWERTY keyboard that slides out, dedicated music keys, A-GPS with Nokia maps, Bluetooth, FM tuner, microSD card slot, tri-band 3.5G HSDPA 3.6Mbps and quad-band GSM network support.

That not only ensures that you have all your music needs fulfilled, but also makes sure you stay connected wherever you go. Also, there’s a 3.15 megapixel camera with auto focus, Carl Zeiss lens and LED flash that should do better images at night.

Available in Red, Monochrome, Blue, and Pink, the 5730 will set you back by € 280, but we definitely think it’s money well spent.

Being the first phone to sport a Nokia Messaging built-in, the business-oriented Nokia E75 has been unveiled at the Mobile World Congress, last week in Barcelona. And the QWERTY slider phone comes equipped with a 2.4-inch QVGA, built-in VPN, HSDA, 802.11 b/g, EGPRS and Bluetooth connectivity.

Nothing outstanding when it comes to design, it’s the solid features that makes it look like a hot seller. And we’re talking about a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a microSD card slot of up to 16GB make it a very attractive package. Clearly not so much as an entertainment center, it’s for those who wish to stay connected on the move.

Using a mobile with a touchscreen can both be annoying and charming all in one go. Most of it depends on the user interface it uses. However, Nokia seems to have pulled a rabbit out of the hat with its wonderful UI for their Series 40.

Nokia 6208c is a stylishly crafted device that integrates touchscreen technology with an elegant look and competent features. While it’s still not available in markets much beyond China and territories around it, the stylish stylus that it sports is something that has become a talking point among mobile lovers across the globe. So what if you think it looks like a bottle opener, it’s still innovative and unique.

Carrying an excellent 3.2 megapixel camera with a 4x digital zoom and a microSD slot for expanding storage, the details are far and few on this for now. But it won’t be much longer before we get a complete taste of the 6208c!

Here’s a sneak peek of the yet unrevealed Nokia E63 which displays a very smart photo shop that is convincing enough of its quality. As the rumors go, the phone is supposed to be having a 320 × 240 resolution display, WiFi, Bluetooth, Symbian S60, a micro SD card slot, 3.5 millimeter headphone jack and UMTS/HSDPA.

Apart from this we can expect to see three variations of the model, the E63-1 for the European market, a second, the E63-2 specially designed for those who just do not want to walk around with camera phones staring out of their suit pockets and finally the E63-3 for the Americans.

As nothing has been disclosed yet by Nokia, we have to keep our eyes and ears open for any more news that wafts through the air about the Nokia E63. – via Boy Genius Report

Two new N-series smartphones have been announced today by Nokia. The first one is the N85 slider which is supposed to replace the N81, while the second is the N79 candybar which replaces the old N78.

Nokia N85 is focusing on music and gaming with a 8GB microSD card that replaces the built-in memory and with the N-Gage support. However, a main problem for gaming on a phone is the battery, but Nokia took care using an AMOLED screen that reduces power consumption. On the other hand, Nokia N78 is mainly focused on the 5 megapixel camera that features LED flash and swappable faceplates.

Our sources say that both smartphones are going to feature the usual by no, WiFi, GPS and 3G. But can you be sure on that 3G in the US? I’m not, yet!

Nokia got their plants working and came out with a new mobile phone dubbed Nokia 6124 Classic. This candybar has 3G broadband connectivity and was designed for Vodafone which said it’s 10 times faster than other 3G networks. I really wonder if they did some sort of tests or this is just a way of marketing their baby better.

Getting a little bit deeper in specs, the new Nokia 6124 has a 2-inch color display, a 2 megapixel camera, a flash multimedia player, microSD card slot for extra memory up to 8GB and runs on Symbian S60 that’s supposed to be able to run more applications at a time for a better web surfing and multimedia experience.

Vodafone will have Nokia 6124 available from the second half of 2008.

Nokia is keen on keeping the Nseries living and the next mobile phone we could speak at might be the Nokia N78. There are reasons to believe that the new N78 will hit the US sooner than we thought, but the new may not be the best. First, here are the rumored specs:

3.2 megapixel camera (picture geotagging capability)

integrated AGPS

Bluetooth and WiFi

integrated FM transmitter

European and North American 3G support

However when we take a look on <a href="http://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=742450&fcc_id=" QFXRM-236'" target="_blank">FCC’s website something funny tells me those above are not the real specs because I quote “The difference between RM-236 and RM-235 is that RM-236 has had WCDMA900, WCDMA2100 and WLAN2450 components removed”. Does that mean no WiFi and no 3G, because to be honest Nokia, you’re really dissapointing your customers like that.

For the last week we had a rumor in the cellphones market with Nokia releasing a new N-series model, N82. First, some pictures and specs leaked from Symbian-freak but had to wait for the official wording which is here. I guess you’re asking what’s so special about Nokia N82, so how about a super smart (read it as 5 megapixel) camera with Carl Zeiss lens that auto-focuses and has built-in xenon flash?

The detailed specs show that Nokia N82 is a quad-band GSM/EDGE cell that features WiFi and Bluetooth, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, assisted GPS and Nokia Maps, HSDPA 2100 (yes, that’s fast) and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Available from today you can buy your N82 for €450 (that’s $657).
