China Telecom gets Motorola A3300c

It looks like China’s main service provider for telecommunications is China Telecom and you seldom get to read any other name other than that. The guys have the iPhone and the Dell Mini 3i to name just a few of latest additions, but now the guys got their hands on the new Motorola A3300c.

This new addition is a full-touch Windows Mobile phone which supports the carriers’s EV-DO 3G network.

You should not underestimate the offering by any means for there are a number of other impressive features. It comes with a 5 megapixel camera, adds WiFi connectivity and a WQVGA display. Just in case you need directions while on the Chinese roads, there is AGPS to help you navigate those busy streets with relative ease.

No price or any release date for the new Motorola A3300c, all we know that it’s probably going to stay in China …

Motorola Evoke QA4, Cool Touchscreen Slider

Once again, Motorola strikes with a stylish and trendy phone that seems to bring all that aesthetic delight that normally is found with phones they launch. With a 2.8-inch 240 × 400 LCD touchscreen display along with a 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth, the all new Motorola Evoke QA4 also sports support for sGPS and aGPS, 256MB internal memory, a microSD card slot and ability to record H.263 MPEG4 videos.

Just as the name say, the Evoke QA4 surely evokes some interest among those who are looking to bring home a mobile that will have all the basic features along with a smooth touchscreen interface and a wonderful form. And did we say there’s a 2 megapixel camera that does 5x zoom?

You will have to still wait a bit though before you know the release date and price of his beauty. We’re sold on the design. [via motorola]

Motorola Stature i9, Selling on Sprint

One of the latest additions to Motorola’s mobile phones, the new Stature i9 is going to be available on Sprint right away. Touted as the thinnest phone in the Direct Connect line, it comes packed with a 3.1 megapixel camera with flash and auto-focus, built-in GPS, a microSD expansion slot with up to 8GB of memory, haptics and Bluetooth. First announced on Boost some time ago (at $299), the new iDEN Motorola i9 Stature is now available on Sprint for $199 if you go for a two-year carrier commitment. Looks like a stylish clamshell that can be easily used as a style statement, don’t you think? [via phonescoop]

Motorola Aura: Stealing the show at CES 2009

You can crib all you want about the Motorola Aura being excessive and pricey, but the simple fact remains that if we had that kind of cash we surely would go buy it and flaunt it over the weekend. The Aura has been out for a while now, but people got an up close and personal chance of watching the masterpiece in action at CES 2009 and despite it being nothing new, it stole the show by quite some distance.

The quality and sophistication of the build, the drop-dead gorgeous display and the Sapphire crystal lens all make it one seductive mobile phone. Just too bad that most will find it a waste of their hard earned cash!
