People over at CrackBerry developed some tests recently and came up with the following conclusions: The Thunder made by Research In Motion (RIM) is a great phone that features a virtual keyboard. Wow! This is so realistic that you’ll see no difference from an 1986 IBM Model M.

BlackBerry Thunder Keyboard

According to some reliable sources, the display will use several advanced technologies and will offer something great. An amazing effect, including localized haptic feedback. This means that the screen will actualy be pushed in while rewarding you with a vibration and click sound. In addition to all that, the phone also includes a full QWERTY or SureType layout.

Until now, everything about the Blackberry Thunder is absolutely fantastic. Let’s just hope that they won’t spoil everything at the end.

Continental Mobiles’ needs our money and it asks us for £10,000 (aproximately $19,000) for a diamond-encrusted Nokia N95.

 nokia n95 diamond

Riches like a Sterling silver front-panel chock-filled with 4.42ct of brilliant-cut, VS1 quality, color G-H, naturally mined diamonds are wrapped around our lil`phone on the stand today. Quite impressive, if you ask me, but a waste of time and jewelry for a phone. What do you guys think?

If you have the dough and you have your heart set on this small part of the Crown Jewels, you have to wait for about 3 weeks to get this phone with an armored car at your doorstep.

HTC has come up with a new smart phone with a giant leap in combining hi-end technology with great design - HTC Touch Diamond. You probably remember the rumor last month!!!

HTC Touch Diamond

The phone features a sharp 2.8-inch touch screen housed with brushed steel and flawless faceted edges  which makes it beautiful to hold and use. It also includes a touch-responsive user interface, TouchFLO 3D, and Ultra Fast HSDPA internet connectivity that allows you to interact with Google, YouTube and Wikipedia with great ease.

The TouchFLO technology creates a great album artwork, video stills and snapshots for you to interact, play and launch. The smartphone includes a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera that helps you capture the perfect moment in style and with a massive 4 GB internal storage helps you store large volumes of pictures, video, contact, messages and other files.

An integrated GPS also helps you reach your destination quickly and effectively.

BAD THING however : “this thing is the same as every other Touch Diamond, meaning that North American 3G is not supported.”

 3G iPhone for $199

Rumors were plentiful during the lengthy wait, but it was still great to see the final 3G iPhone, unwrapped in all of its beauty. With thinner edges, a plastic back, sleek headphone jack, and the innovative iPhone 2.0 firmware, Apple has exemplified improvements on many of its formerly criticized aspects.

3G is the most demanded feature of the new iPhone, but so is the connection speed: 2x faster than the old models and Apple says that pages load 36% faster than the N95 and Treo 750 (which have been long considered “very fast”).

The 3G iPhone will be released on July 11th in 22 countries and the company hopes to fill all stores in over 70 countries with the wonder product, in less then a month afte. Did I tell you the price?$199 for the 8GB model and $299 for the 16GB version. It should sell great on today’s market, I bet.

HTC Touch Pro

HTC announced the Touch Pro officially. It’s supposed to be a QWERTY slider sibling of the Touch Diamond which was announced some time ago.

Several useful features are laying beneath its glossy black shell such as WiFi, Bluetooth, HSPA including a concrete 7.2Mbps on the downstream, 2.8-inch high quality VGA display, a 3.2 megapixel digital camera, Windows Mobile 6.1 which features the 3D interface of the TouchFLO, a half gigabyte of ROM, and approximately 288MB of RAM. It is certainly not the “world’s thinnest cell phone” because it’s 18.05mm thick.

The first lot of HTC Touch Pro cellphones will be released in Europe, late this summer while Americans will probably get it one year later. Too bad!
