Garmin Nuvifone M20 Navigation Smartphone Launches
The Windows Mobile based Garmin Asus Nuvifone M20 has reached Taiwan after the last month launch of the proprietary OS’d G60. It will be the local carrier Chunghwa that will market the phone which features HSDPA and a 3 Megapixel camera. Another highlight would be the comprehensive navigation capabilities of the phone which earn the model its name.

The phone only weighs 99 grams, comes with a 2.8-inch accelerometer-driven VGA displa that allows users to operate all functions including the digital camera and the GPS on the screen. In contrast to the Garmin Nuvifone G60 that runs on Linux, Garmin Asus M20 comes bundled with Windows Mobile.
Sadly, the iPhone 3GS and the Hero are also slated to hit the Chinese market sometime soon, so competition wise, the Garmin M20 doesn’t have much chances.
