Emist is another company that is trying to keep it simple. Honestly, after wading through an amazing assortment of accessories and options from other companies, it’s really nice to find one that streamlines that. Heck, these days I can’t even go to the supermarket and feel overwhelmed by choice, but that’s another discussion.
The starter kit contains:

You can get the kit in tobacco and menthol flavors. It comes in 3 strengths: low, medium, high. You can get 5 refill cartridges for $9.95, 25 for $39.95, and 50 for $59.95. 1 cartomizer equals about 130 puffs, or about 18 analog cigarettes. The taste is pretty good and the durability is also good. I think the only drawback would be a lack of nice add ons. But, again, they are shooting for dependability and simplicity. So, if you know what you are getting, then I think you’ll be happy.

SmartSmoker is an up and comer in the electronic cigarette market. One of the things that is nice about their kits is that they keep it simple. They have 2 flavors, tobacco and menthol, and 4 nicotine levels. The nicotine levels are: none, low, medium, high. Pretty easy.

The white cloud Cirrus II package has great bang for buck value. Well packaged, the kit comes with two batteries, your choice of cartridges, a very well made USB charger and the accompanying literature. The foam packaging holds everything in place and could be used long term to store your Cirrus kit. Everything about the kit says “quality.”
My overall impression was “WOW!” The batteries are very solid and feel good in the hand. When you are twisting on the cartridges, you don’t feel like you may over tighten it or break something. It’s a very well put together electronic cigarette. Simple to use, simple to charge, just know what flavor you want to smoke, twist it on and go!
The charger is one of my favorite parts of the kit. I have seen some VERY cheaply made chargers for smoke kits; so this is one of those “deal breakers” for me. The White Cloud team put some thought into long term use with this particular part of the kit. It is simple, durable (if you drop it, it won’t break; unlike some chargers!), you know when its working with the indicator light, and does the job every time.
The smoke cartridges are obviously the coup de gras of the kit. If you have a battery and charger, but nothing to smoke, what good is a kit if the cartridges taste like crap? The menthol tasted like menthol, vanilla tasted like vanilla, etc. What was even better was that the varying strength between the light, full, extra strength is easily distinguishable. With no harsh after tastes, these cartridges are pure pleasure to smoke. I also liked that the Cirrus II wasn’t as prone to getting too hot; though this depends on your smoking habits and how often you take a puff. For my style-and unlike some of the competition-I didn’t feel like I should put it down for a while to let it cool off.
All in all this is a wonderful kit that does what it says it is going to do; down to its claims on the site of producing twice the amount of vapor. I would recommend this kit to anyone that is thinking of switching from cigarettes or another form of tobacco. Its clean, doesn’t produce off putting smells or tastes and is a joy to smoke! At $249, it’s more expensive than some of the other kits we have reviewed, but the quality shows itself.
